Hermann Maier wins World Cup race at Lake Louise

Alberta was host to men's Downhill and Super G races this past weekend. On Sunday 35 year old Austrian legend Hermann Maier won for the first time in nearly 3 years, finishing .59 seconds ahead of Canada's John Kucera in the Super G. As the runner up Kucera becomes the first Canadian male skier to be on the podium more than once at a FIS Alpine World Cup race on home soil. Peter Fill of Italy won the DH on Saturday.
